Forever Red Game

 

Forever Red Game is a new Wii U exclusive game published by Nintendo. The game is loosely based on the Super Sentai/Power Rangers series of TV shows, with characters being transformed into “forever reds” to fight Dr. Doom. Dr. Doom, in this story, releases four demons (who were sealed away at the end of Power Rangers) and they corrupt Marvel heroes into villains that attack civilians.

The player controls one of these “forevers reds” who must use their morphing abilities to morph into various red versions of different Marvel heroes (and later on villains the) to fight corrupted Marvel villains (villians include Rhino, Sabretooth, Abomination Enchantress). The actions taken in the game (beating up bad guys) allows for special abilities, specials attacks and upgrades to be unlocked. The game has a ranking system where the player is given an amount of points based on how well they perform during gameplay.

TBD by ESRB for Everyone 10+ and PEGI 12+ by ELSPA. Forever Red may also have a +17 meta rating from various censorship boards around the world. This is due to heavy violence, blood, gore, and mild swearing/usage of questionable language in the game.

Languages: English and Japanese (Voice Overs) with European/Australian Accents, Subtitles in other languages throughout.

ESRB Rated T for Teen or M for Mature by North America standards. The game is suitable for children 10 years of age or older, but players will find it to be very difficult at times even on easy difficulty settings.

This is due to high enemy spawn rates coupled with the fact that they are stronger, have more health than normal enemies do at the same level plus have advanced AI which makes them more dangerous than original enemies encountered were in similar levels doing base game playthroughs. Casual gamers should not have a problem though since controls are simple and gameplay is not all that difficult.

The story will be told from the perspective of three factions:

Guardians, New Conglomerate and Terran Republic. From each faction there will three heroes which player can chose or play as all of them if they wish. Unlike in base game, these heroes are unique for each map and have specific abilities. Team composition matters when going into the battle since some maps favor fast paced gameplay while other require stronger defenders in order to keep enemy out until their objective is completed when attacking team spawns near the portal site to finalize attack on base camp when playing defense. Map objectives vary from type of map and additional objective which gives extra rewards to the winning team.

Map A: Glass Platforms –

Two teams battle for control over five capture points. These capture points, once controlled, allow you to spawn your mech right at that location. Points can also be neutralized by the enemy team so it’s a constant struggle for domination! Each point captured will slowly reduce the enemy core health as follows:

Difficulty 1 Point = 3% Core health reduction

Difficulty 5 Points = 15% Core health reduction

At Difficulty 10 Points = 30% Core health reduction

If an entire squad is standing on/near the platform when this is completed, they are awarded with one Mercenary Prize Box each (if all members are present). This Mercenary Prize Box contains one random item from the Mercenary Collection.

But that’s not all! Completing a Difficulty 10 point will automatically trigger a Boss spawn. This boss is randomly selected from any of these possible options:

Armored Assault Mech (DIFFICULTY LEVEL: HARD)

Similar to the usual mechs in this game, but it has two abilities that makes it more difficult to defeat. The first ability is a knockback ability and the second is an invulnerability shield. These aren’t at full charge though so you have time to deal a considerable amount of damage before they become too much for you to handle. You can also avoid them by walking into or jumping onto offmap areas when their shields are on.

Belisarius (DIFFICULTY LEVEL: HARD)

Similar to his appearance in Belserius’s Revenge, he will shoot and use physical attacks against players and creatures alike. Players must be careful of the armored braklings which accompany him; they make him significantly more dangerous due to their ability of inflicting blind on players. Once again, summoning pets is of no help here as they will not attack at all during the fight making it impossible to gain aggro from them or even fight alongside with them!

Omega Weapon (DIFFICULTY LEVEL: EXTREME) –

The most powerful boss in this mod by far! It has multiple abilities that can basically one shot a player including the typical ones that are in most FF7 mods eg. Hellfire, Flare Star but also includes some new ones such as Absolute Zero and Flame Check – abilities which are not only stronger than the common Hellfire but have no counters. It has a very high attack speed so it can easily combo multiple attacks in quick succession!

The Belserius-Beta fights alone;

he will shoot and use physical attacks against players and creatures alike. Players must be careful of the armored braklings which accompany him; they make him significantly more dangerous due to their ability of inflicting blind on players. Once again, summoning pets is of no help here as they will not attack at all during the fight making it impossible to gain aggro from them or even to use them against the Belserius-Beta.

The upcoming patch will bring another much awaited game update, which is already available on the testserver but still unannounced. This new content update brings us back to the well known Red Zones of Tibia where many people have fought epic battles together with their friends or other adventurers in the past.

It is the first time that this area will be released since Summer Update 2010, exactly 7 years ago! The official name for these red zones has not yet been revealed though it might probably be Forever Red.

These new areas are intended for high level players (120+) and they mainly consist of a large labyrinth from where you can access four individual zones designed for different levels ranging from 90 to 200.

The monsters in these zones drop red mysterious devices which can be used to obtain a brand new reward: the Red Dragon Scale Armor set!

The Red Dragon Scale Armor is also obtainable from other sources such as monster or boss drops and even the market. However the armor sets that are obtainable from them might not always have all of their pieces identical which results in different stats being assigned depending on what you have equipped.

The armor sets obtained with our new red device however are completely identical, making them better suited for higher level players who don’t want to “waste” time identifying their equipment.
